After looking at the ingredients, it's worth a shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if it failed somewhat. The only thing I find that actually blocks melanin production is hydroquinone. I have dark spots from an allergic reaction I had about a year ago, and use hydroquinone on them to curb the overproduction of melanin.
