Why did Nivea use supermodels to sell goodbye Cellulite cream? It does not represent the basic public.?

Product Placement.

Of course it doesnt represent the average public. But the people willing to spend 20 bucks for a tube of lotion arent the average public either. They are the average public that want to look like supermodels.

You put an average girl selling 20 dollars lotion. The average person isnt going to spend 10 times more to look like the average public. They arent selling to the average public, they are only selling to those people that think they can look like a supermodel for buying what they buy. They dont want to look like the average girl and they are not going to pay to look or feel like the average girl. Nobody pays to look how they already look. They want to look different, even if its only psychological. They feel better. No harm no foul.

Which of course the supermodels dont. They get paid to use it, the dont pay to use it.Why did Nivea use supermodels to sell goodbye Cellulite cream? It does not represent the basic public.?
it used supermodels so that it will stir in you a want to look like them, thus hoping that you end up buying the product.
